Movie that show the "old" style in Sweden
I have totally forgot to post my first visual language work. Better late than never!
We had to find a movie from our home country (Sweden for me) that show "the old style" and analyze how that influence Swedish fashion today.
I chose a kids movie, Emil i Lönneberga by Astrid Lindgren. I think a lot of people outside of Sweden knows that movie also. But it is a very good movie to analyze style, because Sweden has the history of being farmers and then the clothes ha to be practical and not to much. Which is sort of the fashion scene today to, it has a lot of minimalism in it. Discreet and not to much.

Swedish words with two meanings
In my Semiotics class we had to find five words in our native language which have two meanings. Well prepare for a language class in swedish!
-Tomten: means both santa and the garden.
-Krona: the swedish currency and the crown the king has on his head.
-Mask: mask and also worm.
-Hälsade på: saying hello to someone and visiting someone.
-Klubba: lollipop and golfclub.
That is enough swedish for today!

"My Latin Lover"
Not my, My latin lover but my variation of him. This was for my visual language class, that class is so much fun! So who did I chose... Well there are alto of beautiful men out there but for me there is someone that had that little bit more, Clark Gable! But I think it really is Rhett Butler (Gone With The Wind, a movie) I thought of when I chose him. But still!
