A bit werd but this thumb neckless kinda works anyway. It is designed by Fatima Fransson and she also designed the earrings.

Fashion And Art Working Together

For school today, visual language class, we had to find a designer that mixes, in our own opinion, fashion with art. I choose Mary Katrantzou, she is a greek designer and she makes amazing dresses. These dresses are from her spring 2011 collection. The collection is called "Ceci nést pas un chambre", means it is not a room. She wanted to put the room on the woman instead of the woman in the room. 

This room was, as one can see, the "inspiration" for the dress. The room can be found at Görvälns slott outside of Stockholm, Sweden.

Marc Jacobs

Today I have been working on a presentation about Marc Jacobs. I worked in Keynote and it was a lot of fun. Have not worked in Keynote before but as I said, it was fun! Remember when looking at it that all of the super cool effects I have in the presentation is not shown here. And also the music, ohh yes there is music! So play this while looking, gets you a little bit closer to my "reel" presentation.

 

  

Designing a shirt

Yesterday, 21 marzo, in class we had to design a shirt with a "fashion message" on and a bag to go with it. Had to work in Adobe Illustrator, first time using it but I think it looks good for a first time design. You decide for yourself!

Inspiration

Betsey Johnson never lets you down. I always feel so inspired when I look at her designs. A bit to colourful but still not, it is wearable but still so unique. Love it!

Now I am thinking about to get back on my skateboard (that I left behind a long time ago) just becaus it looks so cool with those stockings to the board! But we will see...

I want to be a ballerina

Chloé has this amazing ballerina look, I just want to put it on and loose myself in the ballerina story.

Colour!

When it comes to bags, I am very traditional/conservative. So surprised I was when I just fell head over heels in love with this blue Prada handbag. It is so pretty!

I can change my mind, I guess

So I have never been a Martens fan, to boyish for me and my headbands. But then I found these and I suddenly feel that the biggest thing missing in my shoe closet for the moment is a pair off Martens. I would never have guessed that!

Okej, so it is a very girly design. But they are a big "must have right now!"!

minimalism and the opposite

What is minimalism to me? Well, black I guess. I so this is my idé of simple/minimalism.

And then the opposite, well that must be fairytales! Everything in you wildest imagination fits in a fairytale, so for me that is the opposite to "less is more".

Styling a celeb...!!

So, to fab up a celeb (can one say that?) for both day and evening. I picked Taylor Swift. This is how I did it:

I like good and maby a bit simple clothes and then mix it with lovely handbags and headbands and for the night adding sparkling accessories! Lovely I think!    

THE FIRST PHOTOSHOP EXPERIENCE!

Here comes a scen about the 2011 spring/summer trends. It is very much out in the wild! Be one with nature, just let you imagination go wild!

So, what is the trends for next winter? I know it feels far away, the winter just ended or it did here in Italy but back at home in Sweden it is still very much still going on. But as my father says: one can never be to prepared. So next winter, just go for colour and you will be both seen and very stylish!
