Fendi, Fatto A Mano today

There are a lot happening in Florence this week. Today my school is working with Fendi, Fatto A Mano, witch is really much fun. Just visited the Fendi store here in Florence were they have the event, witch is there the hole day today and tomorrow, and we (my class at IED) will be there both days.

This is a lamp made by my professor Nachtigall. The leather is "Fendi" leather witch means that it match some of the Fendi handbags, imagine a lamp that matches your bag. This opens up for a hole new way of matching! I tell you!  

But the lamp is so much more than just a lamp, it is a friend. It can keep you company at night when everyone else has gone to bed and you are the only one still up or if you just like some company while you are working. If you work, like my father, as a writer the company of a lamp can be a nice little distraction when inspiration leaves you for a moment or to.

and just a little side not, amazingly soft leather the lamp is covered in, it is the same as the bags!
